Tennis elbow, also known as lateral epicondylitis is a very common injury that can create significant and persistent symptoms that limit performance. What is Tennis Elbow?

It is an overuse injury that occurs in the muscles and tendons on the outside of your elbow. It is 2-3 times more common in people who participate in strenuous activities more than 2 hours per week. It is more commonly seen in people from the age of 35-55. Having said that, it is not just a sporting injury and can occur from general daily overuse.

Signs and symptoms

Pain in the outside of your elbow. Most common in activities such as

  • Gripping
  • Opening doors
  • Lifting
  • Shaking hands
  • Tennis
