If you find yourself sitting for most of the day you may find that you frequently suffer from aches and pains. One way to help relieve these aches and pains is to set some time aside each day to do a series of simple stretches. These stretches are designed so they can be done anywhere – they don’t require any equipment and they wont take up much of your time.

Sitting frequently will cause the muscle groups that run down the sides of the lower back to get very tight and uncomfortable. This lateral stretch is fantastic for releasing them and gaining more mobility. Add this, alongside the previous flexion, extension and rotation stretches, into a daily routine to achieve maximum results.

Next time we will have a look at how to effectively stretch out your gluteal muscles.

If you have any questions please feel free to comment and we will get back to you!
