Stretch Therapy

Presented by Leslie Abrahams

Saturday 8th June 12pm-2pm.

The goal of the work is two-fold: to teach people techniques that enable them to feel what’s happening in their bodies and, in the process, to hold the awareness in the unfolding present. Over time, this leads to the experiences of grace and ease in the body and mind.

Content:

You’ll learn a list of daily stretch and mobility exercises that are essential to combat the effects of modern day living.

We’ll focus on:

  • 4 spinal movements and stretches
  • Gluteal Muscle stretch and hip mobility
  • Hip Flexors
  • Neck and Upper Back

Discover how mobility and flexibility can be achieved without force or intensity.  Learn how to remove restrictions to increase range of movement and flexibility by remapping the brain

Two constraints will be used with all the movements in the workshop

  • Is it safe for you
  • Is it effective to get the desired outcome for you individually
