If you find yourself sitting for most of the day you may find that you frequently suffer from aches and pains. One way to help relieve these aches and pains is to set some time aside each day to do a series of simple stretches. These stretches are designed so they can be done anywhere – they don’t require any equipment and they wont take up much of your time.

This spinal rotation stretch mobilises the mid back. It’s an important one as spinal rotation occurs often in day to day movements and so the mid back is often prone to tightness. Combine this daily with the previous flexion and extension stretches to maintain maximum mobility of the spine and prevent uncomfortable tightness.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next video in the series which will show you all you need to know about lateral stretching.
